| to fix/adjust the idle and overlooked everything but the obvious? Very painstaking when everything boiled down to seeping air from the TB. PROBLEM: Propeller would not shut smooth. Perhaps if I honed the inside with 600-800 grit, it would make it nice and smooth. Unfortunately I didn't have the proper machine tools. For that reason, I'd only be making matters worse as the inside diameter has to be perfectly trued. The quick fix was to add another round to the loaded return spring adjacent to the problematic TB.
Then it shut like a clamping aligator jaw. So much so, that it was a hassle to even push on the gas pedal. So my only alternative to make things right, was to get it fixed..."the right way" Contacted @Rob'Z with not hesitation and now I can adjust the idle easily. Also, I checked my ConZult and the TPS is now reading b/t .43/45 as it should.
